About Me.

I am an independent Artist with a profound love for Ink, Watercolour, Photography, and everything creative.

I suppose my “Personal Style” is trying out everything and dipping my toes on all sorts of art and craft mediums, styles, genres, and traditions. My “Artist's Identity” is “Never settling and Always Exploring and Experimenting”.

I was struggling for years to find my niche, and I was sad seeing that other artists have found their personal style and medium of choice, until I realised that I do not have to settle for this imaginary Art Rule, in fact, I do not have to settle for any rule!

​

This is why, in 2022 (or whatever year we have now) I am not going to follow the “Rules to Success”. I am an Artist, not a Content Creator (nothing wrong with that, just my personal choice). This means that I walk my own walk, at my own pace, following my creative instincts. I am not subscribing to the stress of “pumping out” content all day or spending my creative time on strategies for building social media. Platforms can collapse at any moment, but a community of loyal admirers who appreciate your art won't fade that easily. At the end of the day “follow” me because you are fond of my creations, not because I managed to ensnare you with marketing traps.

I am a creative soul, not a business soul, and I have the need to get pleasure out of what I am creating. Facebook, Twitter, this urge to “Be Present, Everywhere and Always”, to always film your art or stream every single moment, thinking about times, schedules, angles... ends up making everything a chore, not a creative artistic pleasure.

Normalise making art when none is looking!

I know it is important for you to enjoy the creative process too, so I promise to do my best and accommodate this whenever possible.

My mindset when I make art is that I am the last person on earth and none will see what I create.

 

I make art to appease my soul, not the algorithm.
